1. Delivery terms
Delivery terms (incoterms), freight mode and destination are stated on each quotation and order confirmation. Where terms are not stated, delivery is quoted ex-works and freight is charged separately.
- Air freight
- Sea freight
- Road transport
- Courier for small consignments
2. Lead times
Lead times shown on a quotation are estimates based on supplier confirmation at the time of quoting. Production schedules, vessel availability, customs clearance and public holidays can affect actual transit.
3. Documentation
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any product-specific certificates are prepared and checked before dispatch. Destination-specific regulatory requirements are confirmed with the client before shipment.
4. Duties, taxes and clearance
Unless the quotation states delivered-duty-paid terms, import duties, taxes and clearance charges at the destination are payable by the client.
5. Inspection on delivery
Consignments should be inspected on arrival. Visible damage, shortage or discrepancy must be noted on the delivery documents and reported to WIZXON within seven days, with photographs where relevant, so a claim can be raised with the carrier or supplier.
6. Title and risk
Risk passes according to the agreed incoterm. Title passes on full payment of the invoice value unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
